Measure the new rooms and decide which beds, chairs, tables and storage pieces will fit. Label items by their destination and separate anything staying behind. Our service is the household move; this page does not promise estate management, care services or a full organizing service.
Coordinate with family and the community
Have an adult available at both locations to confirm access and furniture placement. If moving into a retirement or senior-living community, ask staff about delivery windows, elevators, loading access and insurance documentation. Share those requirements before booking so the move can be scoped around them.
Keep daily essentials close
Carry medications, documents, cash and valuables yourself. Pack a separate overnight bag with clothing, toiletries and chargers. Tell the crew where essential furniture should be placed and discuss loose parts, fragile pieces and existing damage before any lifting begins.
Posted household rates and booking terms
Two movers and a 16-ft truck start at $300 for two hours, then $120 per extra hour. Larger crews are available through our posted packages. Furniture pads, equipment and disassembly/reassembly are included. Fuel covers the first 20 miles, then $1 per additional mile. A confirmed booking requires a $35 non-refundable deposit; the balance is paid after the move.

- Can a family member arrange the move?
- Yes. Share the inventory, addresses, move date and the contact who will be present. An adult should be available at both locations to answer questions and approve furniture placement.
- Do you offer a special senior discount?
- No special senior discount is published here. Request a quote using our posted crew packages and your actual inventory, access and distance.
- Can unwanted furniture be hauled away?
- Ask for a separate junk-removal quote and clearly identify the items. Do not assume disposal, donation coordination or estate sorting is included in the household move.
