One crew, one truck, start to finish
The same crew loads your home, drives your belongings across the state and unloads them at your new place. Nothing gets transferred to a second truck or handed to a different company partway through.
That means the people unloading your things are the same people who packed the truck. They know where the fragile pieces are, which boxes go to which room and how your furniture came apart. Beds, desks and shelving are taken apart and put back together at no extra charge, and every piece of furniture is pad-wrapped for the road.
How long-distance pricing works
Long-distance moves aren't billed by the hour. Instead, we do a free walkthrough or video survey of your home so we can see what's moving, how much space it takes on the truck and how easy the access is at both ends.
Your move is priced from that survey, plus the mileage fee — fuel is included for the first 20 miles from your starting location, then $1 per additional mile. There's no separate insurance fee, and your full price is confirmed before move day.
If something big changes after your survey — like adding a garage full of items you hadn't mentioned — we'll talk it through with you before the move, not after.
Planning your move date
A long-distance move takes a crew and truck for the whole day, so the earlier you book, the more dates you'll have to choose from. Weekends and the last few days of the month are the first to fill.
- Check your closing or lease dates at both ends before picking a day.
- Ask your new building or HOA about move-in rules, elevator reservations or loading-dock hours.
- Plan to be reachable at both addresses, or have someone there to let the crew in.
- We work 7 days a week, 8 AM – 8 PM, so weekday dates are often easier to get.
What to have ready
A little prep keeps your move day on track:
- Boxes packed and closed. You pack the boxes; we move them. Label each one with its room.
- A "first night" bag. Keep medicine, chargers, documents and a change of clothes with you, not on the truck.
- Both addresses and access details. Gate codes, parking, stairs and elevators at both ends.
- Valuables with you. Jewelry, cash and important papers should travel in your car.
- Appliances prepared. Empty and defrost the fridge, and disconnect the washer and dryer ahead of time.

- Do you move out of state?
- No. We move anywhere inside Georgia only. We do not do out-of-state moves, so both your starting address and your new address need to be in Georgia.
- How is a long-distance move priced?

- Will the same crew unload my things?
- Yes. The crew that loads your home in Metro Atlanta drives the truck and unloads it at your new place. Your belongings stay with one crew and one truck and are never handed off to another company.
- How far ahead should I book?
- As early as you know your date. Long-distance moves take a full crew and truck for the day, and we need time to do your survey and confirm your price. Weekends and the end of the month fill up first, so if you have flexibility, a weekday is usually easier to get.
